VISION &
PRIORITIES

The City of SeaTac has the most incredible potential in the Puget Sound. Our real estate market allows first time home buyers the opportunity to build generational wealth, our parks are a regional draw for families throughout South King County, our proximity to the airport and hotels provide stable jobs for residents, and we are an incredibly diverse community with opportunity for all.

I want our city to govern well. SeaTac is currently at risk of overextending our budget and our residents shouldn't have to shoulder the burden of the city spending beyond its means. We have strong programs to benefit our community and they need to continue without creating additional hardship for taxpayers.

I envision continued economic growth, maintaining some of the best labor standards in the state, creating housing of all types, stewarding our natural environment, and leveraging our regional position to benefit our residents.

I hope to earn your support.

01

COMPLETE

NEIGHBORHOODS

With the continued growth of our city, now is the time to invest in the amenities that make our neighborhoods complete—places where people can live, work, and gather. I will work to strengthen our city with welcoming spaces where everyone feels at home to eat, drink, and connect. I'm eager to find additional opportunities for public-private partnerships and to ensure small businesses have the support they need at every step.

02

HOUSING ACTION

The city offers housing options of all types and remains extremely attractive for private developers. The comprehensive plan lays out a bold vision for urban villages and increased density, which we will need, but it could leave our existing homeowners with undue tax burden. I will work to develop sustainable revenue models to ready ourselves for this growth of all housing types so we can continue to support our residents, new and old.

03

INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS

With increased growth, our infrastructure will need continued updates. SeaTac always finds ways to fund important public works improvements but with recent staff changes (and changes to funding available at the federal level), we will need to ensure this track record continues. I will use my leadership to help facilitate important conversations with the council on how we can continue to find dollars to do this important work.

MEET CAITLIN

I come from a working-class background, growing up in South King County and experiencing the challenges many families face—constant moves, blended families, and the realities of addiction and mental health struggles in my community. Thanks to my parents' union jobs, I had stability, but I also saw firsthand how difficult it can be for families to get ahead.

I was the first in my family to earn a college degree, but I knew real change happens through experience. After graduation, I dedicated myself to service—tutoring formerly incarcerated individuals, mentoring youth as an AmeriCorps member, and later earning a master's degree in social work with a focus on policy reform. My work within the prison system reinforced my belief in community-based solutions for public safety and workforce protections.

Today, as a union-represented social worker for the State of Washington, I help our most vulnerable residents reintegrate into society. I work with people from all walks of life, balancing professionalism with strong advocacy to ensure our city’s policies serve everyone—especially working-class families who keep SeaTac running.

As a resident of SeaTac, I understand our city's unique responsibilities—managing the economic impact of a major international airport while ensuring a high quality of life for all who live and work here. That means setting smart public policies, protecting our neighborhoods from harmful airport impacts, and making sure city dollars go back to the residents who need them most. As a member of the Community Services Advisory Board, I’ve worked to ensure funding for essential services is allocated effectively, strengthening local programs without unnecessary duplication.

I believe SeaTac should be a city where families can thrive, where no one is priced out of their home, and where small businesses continue to grow. I’m ready to roll up my sleeves, listen to our community, and fight for policies that put residents first.

When I’m not working, I enjoy writing, home renovations with my partner Adam, and making homemade blackberry wine—sometimes with a little help from the neighbors’ overgrown bushes!

LEADING YOUR CITY INTO AN EXCITING FUTURE FOR ALL.
